24/7 emergency storm response

Open 7 days a week from 7:00 AM

Nor'easters, ice storms and summer thunderstorms bring down trees and limbs across north central Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire every year. From our Fitchburg base, we answer emergency calls any time a tree blocks a driveway or limbs pile up in a yard. Our emergency storm response is available 24/7.

We cut up and clear downed trees and limbs, pick up brush and debris, grind the stumps that are left and haul everything away. For anything urgent, calling is the fastest way to reach us. The form is fine for cleanup that can wait a few days.

What's included

  • Downed trees cut up and removed from yards and driveways
  • Broken and hanging limbs taken down
  • Brush and debris cleanup and haul away
  • Stump grinding after the cleanup

Who we do this for

  • Homeowners with trees or limbs blocking driveways and walkways
  • Properties with storm debris across lawns and fence lines
  • Commercial lots that need to reopen quickly
  • Cleanup after the immediate emergency is handled

Good to know

  • Stay away from downed power lines and any tree touching them. Call your electric utility and 911 first.
  • Trees that fell on a house or garage may need a tree crane service. Call us and we will tell you right away whether it is a job for us.

How it works

  1. Call us

For emergencies call any time. Tell us what fell, where it landed and whether any lines are involved.

  2. Make it safe

We clear access first: driveways, walkways and anything blocking your home.

  3. Clean up

Trees and limbs are cut up, brush is gathered and debris is hauled off.

  4. Finish

Stumps are ground below grade once the debris is gone.

What affects the price

Every job is priced after we understand the site. These are the factors that move the number.

Size and amount of material
One large oak across a driveway is different from limbs scattered across a yard.
Tension and hazards
Trees under tension, hung up in other trees or resting on structures take more care.
Access
Wet ground, slopes and tight spaces affect equipment choices.
Haul away
Removing all wood and brush costs more than leaving logs for firewood.

Insurance after a storm

Before cleanup starts, take photos of the damage from several angles. Homeowners policies often treat a tree that damaged a covered structure differently from a tree that only fell in the yard, so call your insurance company early and ask what they need. We are fully insured for the work we do on your property.

Storm Damage Cleanup questions

Do you offer 24/7 emergency storm service?

Yes. Our emergency storm response is available 24/7. Call us directly, because the form is not monitored around the clock.

A tree is on a power line. Can you remove it?

Not until the utility makes the line safe. Stay at least 30 feet away, call your electric utility and 911, and call us for the cleanup once the line is de-energized.

Does homeowners insurance pay for storm cleanup?

It depends on your policy and on what the tree hit. Damage to a covered structure is often covered, while a tree that fell in the yard may not be. Photograph the damage and ask your insurer before work starts.

Can you grind the stump after the tree is cleaned up?

Yes. Stump grinding is our specialty, so we can finish the job the same way we handle any other stump.
